13 guests' feedbackOn arrival we were early, understandable that our room was not ready. Reception was kind enough to allow us to sit by the pool area and wait. We were placed in an outside room. The room was not what I expected. It was not comfortable and warm. There were cracks in the ceiling, pipes, and the basin, which was slightly off-putting. The drains had a terrible odour, etc. On Saturday, we went to breakfast, but there was no one to be seen, so we had no breakfast. When leaving, an employee opened the gate for us. I explained to him that we had not received breakfast and there was no one to assist. His reply was okay. I thanked him and said goodbye. He seemed unsure how to reply.
Warm welcome with friendly staff.
I say so because it doesn't feel very homey. The bed was rock hard and the mirror is not plugged in. I had to move things around to do my hair and there was no new coffee and sugar put out for us. It was very impersonal.
The place not clean.
The service was terrible in terms of checking in as there was no one at the front desk. We waited for about 20 minutes just to get to the premises. The bookings were mixed up and there was no one to take the responsibility of a mess. The place and the location was just perfect, they need to look at their service and the staff attitude.
We were impressed with the rooms, was more than we expected. We were able to come and go as we please, and we were very happy with the service, and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend Blue Sparrow - they offer above and beyond what is required for an overnight stay.

Clean and comfortable accommodation.
Blue Sparrow offers good accommodation in the peaceful park-like neighborhood of Groenkol. The room is very nice and well equipped with microwave oven, bar fridge and air conditioner. I expected free WiFi, but it was not offered. I enjoyed the pool and lapa area as it was very warm. Dinner is available on request but I thought it was not good value for money. Blue Sparrow is within 5 km of shopping centers and restaurants.
What they advertise and what they does not match. The toilet door is broken. Just a big board. They advertise breakfast, but there was no breakfast. No Wi-Fi. I will not book again or recommend.
